Would come here as a kid with my siblings and mom before school for breakfast, and the same relaxed, friendly ambience is still there along with the same great food.
I remember going up to order with my mom and I'd ask for a mini spaghetti with cheese already mixed because I wasn't so good at it when I was young and they would! -

First meal after landing in Hawaii.
It's been a few years since we've had Zippy's and it was so nice to visit again. Limited parking is available and it can get a bit tight. This location has plenty of seating. Restrooms are outside the restaurant, ask an employee for the key. The cashier was so friendly, patient, and helpful. We all had jet lag so it took us some time to decide what we wanted and the cashier was just the sweetest!
Ordered the Zip Pac, Loco Moco, and Fried Noodles. It was all seasoned well. They are always so generous with the portions. We had plenty leftover and it made for a great meal the next day. Their bakery is also excellent. So many cakes, donuts, pies, and other goodies to choose from.
This location is not open 24 hrs but they do open from 5:30 am - 11 pm. They close at 12 am on Fri and Sat. That's still pretty great! -

This is always my stop by dinner place. I admit that I am just coo coo for chilli and chicken mixed with onions and cheese melted upon my chilli;) yuuum! They're quick making the food so listen for your number on the receipt:) perfect late night place as they are a 24 hr dining establishment that serves food food. Not just McDonald's although if you're craving fries then sure:) by all means:)

If you want to wait forever for your phone order because they didn't take your order correctly over the phone, then come here. If you do a phone order here, make sure they repeat your order. Waited almost half an hour for one Zip Pac! Ridiculous!

This was my first time eating at Zippy's. I had higher expectations based off friends' recommendations. This location is more of a fast food setting, I've heard the others are sit downs. The spaghetti was meaty and pretty decent. The garlic bread was really good. The zip pac had spam, Korean bbq meat, fish with tartar sauce, and one piece of fried chicken. The fish was definitely fishy. The Korean beef was disappointing. The fried chicken was juicy. And the spam, well it's spam you can't really mess that up.
